Yoga for sports men and women is one of my many yoga passions! As a keen runner and hiker myself, I am taking part in the Brighton marathon 2011. Many sporting activities can cause tightness and shortening of the muscles, but in my experience, this can be completely countered by a carefully tailored yoga practice.
I have years of experience of working with runners, gym users, football players, cyclists, and climbers (amongst others!).
Yoga can be specifically tailored to meet the needs of your favoured sport, enabling you to develop greater stamina, core, leg, and arm strength, as well as improved range of movement-thereby reducing the risk of injury.
